The Pantone Color Institute has announced its first colour when three years – PANTONE® Minion Teal. This energetic, friendly and interesting shade is also the company's first-ever character branded colour, inspired next to the mischievous creatures from Illumination Entertainment's Despicable me new iPad case movie franchise, even the upcoming 2015 prequel Minions.
Pharrell Williams, who sings the 'Happy' song from Despicable me minion iPad case a couple of, originally came up with the idea for the upcoming shade, and the Pantone team taught the movie animators to create the specific Minion Yellow tone.
